Meet One More City

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re proud to spotlight our October partner, One More City.

This incredible organisation takes on cycling challenges across Europe to raise funds and awareness for secondary breast cancer research.

Their mission? To keep moving forward, one city at a time, until we find a cure.


This year, 37 dedicated riders embarked on a monumental journey from Treviso to Rome: 670km, over 7,000m of elevation, and 4 days of pure grit.

WHAT IS SECONDARY BREAST CANCER?


Secondary breast cancer is cancer that has spread beyond the breast and nearby lymph nodes to other parts of the body. There are around 55,900 new breast cancer cases in the UK every year, that's more than 150 every day (2016-2018). Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK, accounting for 15% of all new cancer cases (2016-2018).


To date One More City have raised over £450 000 and have funded three PhD students. Their current campaign is Europe is for a clinical research fellow at the .
